AMDA NY - 61st St. AMDA New York's master facility is located at 211 West 61st Street, in the heart of the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Stratford Artillery Affectionately known to AMDA students as "the Strat," this celebrated brick hotel has been converted into New York Metropolis studio apartments. Performance Theatre AMDA New York features a theatre for learning, skill development and performance. The Ansonia Building features a 100-seat, blackness box-mode theatre equipped with 2 dressing rooms, a costume store, a workshop, and backstage space and prop storage. The climate-controlled theatre has dedicated lighting and a sound system and tin can exist arranged in multiple layouts.
Rehearsal Space AMDA provides plenty of places to railroad train outside of the classroom, including newly renovated studios and private voice rooms.
